So, who is Julie Stafford, then?

Jule Stafford is recognized mostly for her popular Taste of Life cookbook series that have sold more than 2.2 million copies in Australia, New Zealand, USA and the UK.

Let Julie show you how!

Her success began with a crisis.

In 1980, when Julie's husband, Bruce, 30, was diagnosed with cancer, she began researching a link between diet and disease.

She developed a commonsense nutritional-eating plan that allowed Bruce to achieve a remission for more than 20 years, and for it to become the formula for her successful Taste of Life series.

Julie took a seemingly insurmountable obstacle and turned it into her greatest opportunit.

Her philosophy is simple: "Food should not only taste good, it should be good for us. Food is first and foremost fuel for survival.

"What we choose to eat and how we choose to cook our food contributes enormously to our health and wellbeing, our performance potential, disease prevention and longevity. This body we have so generously been given is our home, if we don’t look after this one, where do we intend living next?"

This philosophy has made Julie Stafford and Taste of Life a household name and created a successful, self driven business concept that 20 years after its conception is still as relevant and vital today as it was when it began…

With 20 titles, including cookbooks, a fitness and weight management book, two videos and a book about motivation, Stepping Out, Julie is just as much at ease in the kitchen developing healthy eating concepts as she is on the media and speaking circuit.

Julie delights in sharing her down-to-earth commonsense ideas, teaches her health and lifestyle secrets, motivating people in a most informative and entertaining way, inspiring them to make necessary and rewarding lifestyle changes.

She has presented herself and her health philosophies to more than 500 corporate and community organisations and made hundreds of personal appearances on radio, in newspapers and television throughout the world.

Some of these include Good Morning Australia (Ten), Ray Martin Midday (Nine), Midday with Kerry Ann (Nine), Today (Nine), Countrywide (ABC), Current Affair with Mike Willesee and Ray Martin (Nine), Eleven AM (Seven), Healthy Wealthy and Wise (Ten), Ernie and Denise (Seven), A Touch of Elegance (Seven, What's Cooking, (Nine). Live with Regis and Kathy Lee, ABC TV New York; Cookin USA, TNN Nashville; Daytime Dialogue KWHY-TV Los Angeles. Woman’s Day, BRW, ITA, New Idea, Australia Post, Weekly Times, Country Style, Home Beautiful, Good Taste, Dolly, 50 Something and several health magazines in Australia New Zealand, US and UK.

Julie, through her books and presentations, has always been at the forefront of nutritional thinking, identifying ‘best’ food choices and ‘best’ food preparation techniques.

Her Taste of Life series has heralded a new awareness in the consumer, food manufacturer and the medical profession.

Dramatic changes in attitude towards food and healthy living have now emerged and are widely accepted.

Julie's alternative approach to food choices in the 80s and its acceptance by thousands of ‘wanting to be healthy’ followers, has now become mainstream thinking, producing a range of ‘new’ foods and a system of identification of ingredients within these foods.

Shoppers can now become smart and healthy shoppers.
